At The Empowerment Center, we’re a nonprofit organization compassionately dedicated to helping women who suffer from substance abuse restore their dignity and quality of life. We help women from all backgrounds receive the support they need to build healthier futures for themselves. Our 5-month signature program includes addiction treatment, workforce development, financial literacy, and other services. We partner with government agencies, local nonprofits, and private entities to provide a high level of care at an accessible price.
Empowerment Center clients are expected to pay rent at a level they can afford. During the early stages of treatment, our fee is $60/month. During the earliest stages of recovery, we prioritize the personal healing journey, understanding that waiting a couple months before returning to the pressures of outside work is the best way to promote long-term success. Once clients begin working, an affordable, sliding scale rate is determined based on the income they’re earning.
For outpatient services, we accept Medicaid and all four MCOs (Silver Summit Healthplan, Molina Healthcare, Anthem Medicaid, and Health Plan of Nevada) at no cost. We also accept some private insurance. Call to inquire.
